Aloha!
It's the beginning of September, and as the cold air starts to creep in to the evenings, and we all become a bit seasonally confused in the clothes department, I seem to find myself slowly start to spend a little more quality time with my laptop and a cup of tea (not that that isn't the case in summer too!). So I thought, as the rest of the world might well be heading the same way, I'd share with you my favourite blogs:
- HELLOGIGGLES
My all time favourite go-to blog is great for a pick-me-up when I'm feeling a bit deflated, or a GIRL POWER-style boost. It's founded by my FAVOURITE actress Zooey Deschanel (from 'New Girl', '500 Days of Summer', 'Elf') and her friends Molly McAleer and Sophia Rossi and is full of gossip, life advice, how-tos, and pictures of cute puppies.
- ZOELLA
I actually found Zoella through her Zoe's Youtube account (youtube.com/user/zoella280390) and although I realise this is a little backwards of me, both her blog and her videos are so bubbly and fun, and she always cheers me right up. It's all about her what she's up to, her beauty and fashion favourites and her day-to-day musings.
- THEBEAUTYDEPARTMENT
This blog is also founded by a famous face and her friends - Lauren Conrad, Kristin Ess and Emma Nadine. These three run a blog full of hair, makeup and lifestyle tips and tricks that have been my saviour when it comes to getting ready in the morning.
- CLOTHESENCOUNTERS
The fashion queen that is Jenn Im, runs a vlog on her Youtube channel of 'style musings, tutorials and lifestyle advice.' She has such a cool, bold style that I wish I had the nerve to pull off. She also has a blog (imjennim.com) which is awesome, but I prefer her beautifully shot videos (like a true Youtube fan).- While we're on the vlog route, I want to also tell you about the three beauties that are Promise Tamang Phan and Emma Pickles, both makeup gurus on Youtube, and Sandra Holmbom, a makeup guru blogger. I've started to get in to makeup, and working out how to create interesting characters and artwork with makeup and facepaints, and these three are amazing and really creative in what they do. I highly recommend you checking them out as their skills are incredible, and really inspiring!
You are now partially equipped for the rapidly approaching 'cosier' seasons - you're welcome.
Thanks for reading,
Til next time!
